29 Aug Outstanding Awards For Seafarers’ Children
On 11 February 2023, we were pleased to welcome special visitors in our Uniteam Building in Yangon!
Twenty-nine children who achieved one to six distinctions in grade 11 on the government matriculation exam attended the awards ceremony, accompanied by their proud parents.
The planning for the significant event started already mid-December 2022, and seafarers could submit documents to Corporate Communications & Marketing in the Yangon office.
The Uniteam ballroom was nicely decorated, snacks and drinks were provided, and then the most important part for the children happened! After opening speeches by Captain Thet Naing and Mr Tin Maung Tun, the trophies and prizes were handed over to the girls and boys by both directors and Senior Fleet Personnel Manager Phyo Win Nyunt.
For Uniteam Marine, it is significant to raise awareness of the importance of children’s education and we like to motivate the children to achieve good results.
