Crane Simulator

Aiming to provide specialised seafaring training in areas which IMO does not focus on, our crane simulator provides hands on training for a ship pedestal crane.

The training objective of the simulator is to familiarise our crew with crane handling on the following aspects:

• Crane controls and components
• Cargo and stability
• Weather conditions
• Maintenance and recording
• Pre-operational, start and function checks
• Visibility options
• Rig environment

The main crane controls are accessible on either side of the operator's chair providing a realistic and scalable training environment. Positioning, functionality, look and feel of the instrumentation panel and controls emulates those found in a real crane cab.
